Cedric Benson of the Chicago Bears was arrested on May 3, 2008.  He was charged with boating while intoxicated and resisting arrest in Austin, Texas.  Police used pepper spray in order to subdue him during the arrest.  Benson denies the charges and was released the next morning on $14,500 bond.
